What is ImpressCMS TNG?
ImpressCMS TNG is ImpressCMS - 'The Next Generation'. This version of ImpressCMS is being developed in parallel to the production-ready branch, as a total re-thinking of the way ImpressCMS is structured internally.
Previously this was labeled as ImpressCMS 2.0, but as more and more of the features that were identified for the 2.0 release were added to the 1.5 development branch, we decided to review our version numbering : 1.5 became 2.0 and 2.0 became TNG.

Installation

Requirements
- At the moment we recommend servers running PHP version 7.3 and MySQL 5.6 or MariaDB 10.0 or greater.
- We also recommend Apache 2.4 as webserver. Alternatives such as nginx should work as well, although they are not tested.
- ImpressCMS TNG has dropped support for PHP 5.x and PHP 7.0, 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3, we recommend you upgrade to PHP 8 as soon as possible.
ImpressCMS is a multi-language content management system for the web. It is community-built, an open source project and based on the common web technologies of PHP and MySQL.
