Re: A proposition for a true opened developement !

The package can be created manually. But we need this script to do the md5 checksum. This script is the one that is used by XOOPS and which is available in the root of their SVN. However, there is not much documentation with it...

If we cannot get the md5checksum to work, we will need to remove its mention in the releases notes. We could add it back in next release, when the issue has been resolved.

Personally, I can live without a checksum for this release.

Yesterday evening marcan send me a skalpa package creation script. It is a small application with 4 option with which you can create a package, create the md5 checksum and everything.

But the problem is: We don't know how this script work.
Quoting marcan:

if it was working it would be very easy to create packages

we don't need the script to create the package. We can do this manually. But for the check sum we need it

if we don't get it working, we will need to remove the checksum mention in the release_notes

Testing this script I see that it tried to fetch the files inside the folder releases/X.X.X (where X.X.X is the version of the package). As we have not had this folder in our SVN I spoke to marcan and created the folder.

But even then I still can not make the script work. Time is short and we need to solve it. If someone has some information about how to make this script work please let us know as soon as possible. Or we will have to withdraw all related to the checksum of the package.

I noticed that a new top-level directory was created:

Changed paths:
D /releases/1.0.0
A /releases/1.0.0-Beta (from /releases/1.0.0:512)

Renamed the release tag from 1.0.0 to 1.0.0-Beta

Shouldn't core release snapshots go under /core/tags?
