Thanks for the notify Steve, I added a news item as well : http://impressc.ms/1ka
I was wondering what that was.
Over the weekend, the www site went offline for a while because we had exceeded our bandwidth allocation on the server. Once we discovered this, we worked with SiteGround, our hosting provider, to get us back online and begin to find the source of the additional resource usage.
As a precaution, we have added ImpressCMS domains to CloudFlare and set it to aggressively scan all requests for the sites. The first time you visit the sites from a new IP address or device/browser, you may see a banner about your browser being checked. As you visit the sites, your browser should be identified and later visits will not have these delays.
We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to have a better solution to this situation soon.
Hi trabis,
I think it's a caching artifact, as your two comments did display fine on both the links a moment ago. I removed the second comment, like you asked.
I also changed the 6th interview to the correct category, well seen
Hi, I was commenting in a news item and noticed the comments are not always displayed (perhaps it is a cache issue?):
This links shows the comments:
http://community.impresscms.org/modules/smartsection/item.php?itemid=633&com_id=3147&com_rootid=3147&com_mode=flat&com_order=0#comment3147
This does not:
http://community.impresscms.org/modules/smartsection/item.php?itemid=633
Please remove my duplicated comment. Thanks.
I hadn't paid much attention to it - but you're right. Time for some new themes, eh?
When posting in the forum here the font color of text in the editor area is black (text area not selected).
Upon selecting the area the font color turns suddenly to grey. To me it looks like the text area is deselected.
Think it's better to have the colors swapped; Grey as font color when the area is not selected and black when the area is selected.
The links should have been updated for some days now. Please let us know here if that is not the case.
Thanks!
My fault, I was doing the work, and I was interrupted. I'll update the links when I get home tonight.
Thanks for the alert, rtoi! We'll tend to that right away.
Hi,
Now there is a new version (1.3.2 Final patch 1) available as stated on the page http://www.impresscms.org/modules/content/content.php?page=ImpressCMS-1_3_x
However, on the same page some of the links are still pointing to the versions without the patch 1.
For example the big "Download Now" button is linked to the file impresscms_1.3.2_final.zip not impresscms_1.3.2.1_final.zip
Regards,
Rtoi
I think it's just the forum - it doesn't have any way of setting control of which editor to use and every user gets a select box with the available editors. All of the modules from that author have the same feature/flaw.
To change your editor in the forums, you'll have to delete the cookie it sets, or wait for the cookie to expire.
Migrating from this to a newer module would be ideal. Anyone want to take on that task?
Now there seems to be an problem using the editors. At first, tiny doesn't render my links , you can not use the link-button (it's deactivated?) and after editing it removes my link from post.. whyever.
Settings have been updated - the search results should be back to normal...
This is a bug. The 'enable deep searching' option in preferences/search options does the *opposite* of what it is supposed to do. I presume it is now turned on.
Can someone please turn deep search *off*, as this will restore the function to the site. It is very hard to troll the forums for past posts at the moment.
Thanks.
FYI,
Since the most recent upgrade the Search feature on the Project, Community and Wiki webpages doesn't return more than 5 results per installed module.
It works on the Addons page
I did send a tweet, but now I realize it was from my own twitter account
I sent it to @impresscms though, so I thought most of you would have gotten it anyway.
That's something to improve next time. But the again, let's hope it won't be necessary in the near future
If it helps: The website wasn't available for me yesterday.
Thought yesterday evening the problem was on my site, but after modifying the settings of 3 pc's and my router the conclusion was that the problem was not on my site.
Maybe it's an option to sent a tweet to notify people if problems occur next time.
