I did it!
I am a dummy, I have Windows, and I want to start a website
An ImpressCMS installation guide.
4.2 MB PDF guide. A bit heavy, but it looks good.
Next step, the video guide.
A new draft. Need some help in chapter 4, section "Plesk". I also have to write section 6: "Clean-up the house", about removing "install" folder and all this
Hi dear friends
The *.gz mimetype can i open as an example with 7Zip without any problems under Windows 32bit! There exist a version for x64 systems, see here
Greetings Andy
Thanks, exp. I'll have a look at it when I finish "paper" version.
Now, I've found another problem: some language packages, are GZipped. This totally defeats the purpose of the tutorial, as Windows can't open GZip files without extensions. ZIP is the most popular compression format, please use ZIP whenever possible.
Hi all
Did you try the latest version 2.6.x of camstudio from the snv nachenko???
http://camstudio.org/blog/
A user told me that he can install it on 64bit system, the same problem he had on a vista installation, but he must load a new version from msvcp71.dll, after it works!

Greetings Andy
ok, I will wait until then to edit the version.
It's a Xara document. It can be ported to Illustrator, then translate the text directly in Illustrator or translate the original OpenDocument file, then compose the text again in Xara / Illustrator.
When everything is ready, including screenshots, I'll post here the file in a format you can edit.
Hi, can be translated using pdf or should be used DOC file?
1st World
Here a first try on the PDF printable version. Still working on the script.

Need the iCMS original logo, in any vector graphics format. Where can I get it?

OK, first draft, in Open Office program. I think it's too long for a tutorial, so ideas to explain the same stuff using less text is welcome:
(sidenote) what about allowing PDF files in the forum?
Very good idea
Certainly sounds like a good idea to me.
I've had an idea.
I moved to a new house, new city, have tons of work, but I want to do this:
The simplest installation guide for iCMS installation.
See, when I read website tutorials like "you'll need an FTP program, an editor, a drawing package and..." I get sick. It's all crap.
My tutorial will be like: Got Windows? You have everything you need. Now you'll get your own iCMS website up and running in minutes..
No need of FTP programs, Internet Explorer can do FTP services, in a way that is much easier to understand for non techy people. No need of dreamweaver or FrontPage, use iCMS integrated content manager, you got no design skills, OK, let's get a free theme.
Now, the first problem: CamStudio screen capture does not install in my computer, don't know why (I have Windows xp64).
I've never been interested this sort of things but if there's something you need help with let me know
Perhaps one of our contributors - Aph3x - can help you with this?
I have used the multilingual search engine optimization services of mseo.com for Japanese seo and for Chinese seo. Although mseo.com offers services in 28 languages, they don’t offer Rumanian. Does anyone know of an agency that could help me with Rumanian seo?
