About the cache per language is allready done in the current trunk ...

I agree with you that xc is a great project... with GREAT developer is more in ohloh i send kudos to them...

The post was to show everyone... that the stats shows the great effort and work that we are doing... in my opinion the most interestant stats are about the contributors and the commits... wich can be translated in a great team and many work done...

About adding xc in the stats... is just to compare many "xoops family" projects... if i could add more... i would do it... i added the 3 bigger.

Sorry if it post offend someone...

Cube has some very good work, I would never say other than this.

Re: ImpressCMS vs XOOPS vs Xoops Cube ---> the stats fight. :-P

I don't see the importance of number of lines. I think iCMS/xoops should not be compared to Xoops Cube Legacy (XCL). XCL is written from very scratch, by some real talent developers - one of them is minahito.

I've just bought a book "Xoops Cube Legacy - the developers' bible" (in Japanese). I wanted to test how great XCL is. Once I can make modules compatible with XCL, I may switch to it.

XCL enables me to build multilanguage sites with its great caching system (cache per language). I am free from hacking the core with XCL's advanced functions over xoops/icms: Override, Preload, and Delegate. In additional I can have full advantages of xoops.peak's D3 modules because the author put XCL to his 1st priority.

I am using iCMS and very happy with it. On the other hands, I want to learn something new....

Submit site added to menu

Thanks, David.

I was thinking about grouping all the submit functions under 1 main menu heading:

Submit >
* News
* Site
* Bug
* Feature Request
* Security Alert

Thoughts? (and we should probably continue discussion in another thread)

Re: idioma.nl uses ImpressCMS

I think we need to create a 'Submit' menu item...

We've been introduced to several sites now using ImpressCMS, but we do not have any sites listed in the Showcase category. Perhaps we should also change the menu description for 'Partners'?

Anyway, here is the link to add a site: http://community.impresscms.org/modules/smartpartner/join.php

idioma.nl uses ImpressCMS

The Dutch based company Idioma heard about ImpressCMS and was very enthusiastic to be one of the early adaptors of this content management system. Idioma currently uses the slightly modified content 0.5 module in combination with the core.

Feel free to review the result at: http://www.idioma.nl

X Garage Was Successfully Upgraded To Impresscms 1.0

X Garage Was Successfully Upgraded To Impresscms 1.0!!!

Will from www.mrtheme.com upgraded www.xgarage.org over the weekend. In what I will call a flawless process.

I personally like all the new features added to this website. Impress is spectacular because of all the extra features. I really would like to thank all the people of the Impress Team. Your hard work has made a big difference over on X Garage!

Will still have a long way to go. The site is a little blank because I am still in the process of rearranging all the content and creating more.

Anyway People
Thank You

Regards
