Yes David, this is necessary.

About Core languages...

Yesterday I did the work of comparison using the file generated in the tag's final version Tagging 1.1 final one last time

I did again, although I had already considered to be my tag 1.1 finalized, but an impressive way, differences in files still existed. Something has changed in the last week and I think so, I was forced to erase my previous tag of language 1.1_final and reviewed again.

After finalizing the work and add some new file and modify the guidelines on the documentation of installation, sent back the tag that can be seen in portuguesebr - tag for translation 1.1 final version.

The language pack in compressed. Zip can be found here until the David to send to the downalods SF.to lang-full-impresscms_1.1_final-portuguesebr.zip

There are several ways: if you want, we can give you access to the Sourceforge SVN (http://community.impresscms.org/modules/liaise/index.php?form_id=2) - or if you wish, one of the ImpressCMS developers will be happy to receive the files from you by email.

And now I try to use popular xoops module(in japan) with ImpressCMS 1.1.

Re: Japanese Version trial

thanks hisapapa,

$emailAddress = urldecode(base64_decode($HTTP_GET_VARS['p']));

we will fix this in 1.1.1 soon. we have tried to get rid of all long_vars in the core, and looks like we may have missed this one.

Re: Japanese Version trial

こんにちは hisapapa-san,

thanks a lot for you hard work. We can add your language files in our SVN. If you like you can add too. Let me know.

About protection.php: We need a littel more infos about it.

Greetings, René

Re: Japanese Version trial

Concerning protection.php - this is something we need to investigate... and thank you for looking into this.

Re: Japanese Version trial

Very nice work indeed!

Thank you Hisapapa! If you are able to assist us with language files, this would be a very good contribution.

Japanese Version trial

From the new release of ImpressCMS 1.1, I started to challange to make Japanese language files.

See Japanese Alpha version site

Now I check the performance for Impress CMS Japanese and after checking, I will send Japanese(utf-8) language files.

Thanks.

P.S
In installing ImpressCMS 1.1, I had a trouble about e-mail address to image process.

in include/protection.php , 13 line

$emailAddress = urldecode(base64_decode($$HTTP_GET_VARS['p']));

After change to below, the trouble disappeared.
$emailAddress = urldecode(base64_decode($_GET['p']));

I think this was because of my server, but if some person has the same trouble, try it.

Re: language packs on SourceForge version 1.1 final

Some excellent work Giba.

Question: Do we need to arrange for some utf-8 english language files as well? For both modules & core?

Re: language packs on SourceForge version 1.1 final

Yes my friend, I need a lot of your help.

The steps that I am developing are:

- download all languages of SVN.
- Start comparing total in all languages by appearing not to translate, but to search for any word missing.
- Package each language.
- Send each language in the same place in SF (do not know this, I need your help David)
- Generate a single package with all languages. (An optional extra work and so that other members can test their place quietly in multilanguage)
- Using this package of several languages to upgrade the sites of the community.

This is my real task.
Wait help if possible.

Giba

Earlier today the Dutch language pack is released at the download section of ImpressCMS at SourceForge.

You can download "lang-impresscms-1.1-dutch-utf-8" overhere:

Pack Languages Featured... [in progress]

* With 1.1 Final, we need to release language packs on SourceForge

First u have to release Translators Pack (during the RC), like what I've did long time ago for XOOPS, a zip package with every file which have to be translated.

Impress is XOOPS, but a lot of things is changed, and I for example don't have the time to check each folder of Impress where are the new added language files.

Example of how one Translators Edition looks, can be obtained from here: (It is for XOOPS!)
http://dev.xoops.org/modules/xfmod/project/showfiles.php?group_id=1162&release_id=590&dl=1791

Waiting for such release from you
