I think you're talking about the IPF Class IcmsFormImageElement, correct?

I'm not sure whether you could use it in a module which isn't IPF based. In IPF, simply set at control like this: $this->setControl('tribe_img', 'image');

hi,

I know this module but I would like to know how to create a form and upload a image. there is a class in icms for this forms and I would like to know how to use it.

have you allready tried the ccenter module?
maybe you could just modify a template so that only the title and the filename of the form remains?

i'm afraid another solution would need you to code something icms independent(?).

Yes, have to add the fields to the database and modify those files where you need the additional fields.

just installed the shoutbox module and everything seems to run fine with icms112final. i guess that i'm really getting used to it, and it does pretty well, the whole site i mean.
look and feel can be ajdusted, to say, it brings a lot of color with it.

I'll try a nice toolbox with integrated meebo chat. buttons to pop the chat up can be placed anywhere on the site.

An option to override the individual settings would be something for the future - but having it controllable to this level is something I preffer.

It is actually under the edit button for each forum topic.

Although it was not clearly stated as such...

Is the description for the line!

I find it odd that it is not just set for the whole module instead of each individual forum!

Nope :)

I think it was overlooked as its not in preferences, we did however hacked the /class/uploader.php so it won't check for limit so the ini settings will be used

I don't know iForum but most likely you can find this option in your iForum Administration. There you should follow the edit link for the forum you want to change the file size limit for. It should be somewhere on this form.

No chat module native to X or Impress that I know of. skenow was looking into integrating a flash chat application with the icms site for meetings and such, but he hasn't finished yet.

Is there a chat module for Impress? I'm helping someone with a small business site. They want to allow people to chat with a sales agent live through their website.

yes other modules have different size limits!

Can you verify if other modules have a different limit cause it can easily be a case of php.ini settings
