Re: box login javascript

To put simple, you can't use this kind of MooTools code:

$('whatever')....

The problem is the $ function. It happens the same with jQuery. Check this:

http://community.impresscms.org/modules/imblogging/post.php?post_id=86

And BTW, i'd change script's type from "text/ecmascript" to "text/javascript", just in case.

yes, I have already brought this up... I believe that any jQuery that goes in the core absolutely has to be in compatibility mode to prevent conflicts between libraries.

Re: box login javascript

Re: box login javascript

Re: Question on your Themes section... newbie here...

Here is a good start about understanding impress themes.

http://www.youtube.com/user/ICMSWill

But as you were saying in the other thread you have use xoops in the past. All the themes from xoops will work with impress with little to no work on most.

well, we do, but we are in the process of revamping it. The current system relies on the developer to upload an image that is actually visible when enlarged. Which apparently doesn't work out... but yeah if you click that thumb it will technically expand - though not by much.

we have a theme select box - that allows you to upload several themes and casually switch between them. It is visible by default on a new install.

Per the addons site stuff - we are always open for new ideas on layout/functionality.

Question on your Themes section... newbie here...

Okay, newbie to Impress, haven't decided if I want to move from Joomla to Impress yet or not... in deciding I'm wandering through all the sections of this site and have a general question regarding your release of themes or your themes forum... does Impress not have the ability to have an expandable thumbnail so that prospective users (such as myself) can actually see the themes before downloading them?

My Joomla site has a theme selection module as an add-on that allows me to upload several themes then casually switch between them to get a feel for them. Anything like that here?

I'm bored to tears with Joomla and wanting to switch my loyalties to another CMS. Was going back to Xoops when I heard that it basically is stalled out and Impress is the new "queen" for CMS's...
