How many changes to alt-sys was needed to do this?
I have a modified version that covers the bottom 3 blocks, in fact, it is in use here at the community site. But with ImpressCMS we have added the possibility of additional positions and more work is needed to be compatible with those.

the incompatibility comes from 2.0.17 and applies to 2.0.17, 2.0.17.1 and 2.0.18 and Impress 1.0
and only in the 3 bottom blocks

altsys is framework and included blocksadmin and templatesadmin.
Earlier were all single module
Gijoe has combined templatesadmin and blocksadmin into altsys

buggy CBB
cant attach file-majorversion.minorversion.zip
Today it is possible to work with altsys in various sectors, but with respect to the placement of blocks, is really very different.
If the pattern xoops you could be 8 positions, now in impresscms you may have 12, 16, 20, as desired.
His theme may be adapted in order to give full support to these new positions you will create.

Block Positions
You can ignore this new feature and work only with the standard altsys. This choice will be the administrator of the site. I always use the altsys also for various other purposes.

[Edited for myself]
Added 4 new positions.
Quote:
header_top_left
This position can be used in the header on the left side to show some dynamic content.
header_top_right
This position can be used in the header on the right side to show some dynamic content.
footer_down_left
This position can be used in the footer on the left side to show some dynamic content.
footer_down_right
This position can be used in the footer on the right side to show some dynamic content.
I'm sure that - with only minimal work - we could add these additional blocks to Block's Admin... the same way that GiJoe also supports 2.2's blocks.
I know he is a busy man, so I doubt he would have time for this himself... so perhaps someone could look at this as an update for this useful module?

As for BlocksAdmin not compatible with oops, is it the same with ImpressCMS (I guess so), and if so, can you create a new thread to discuss this and we will do the necessary changes for the module to work on ImpressCMS. We have already committed ourselves to be compatible with Gijoe modules and we will stick to our words. But for this, we need everyone here to help us doing this by documenting where the problems are.
I'll help :)
Go just about anywhere and similar forum topics are scattered throughout over many forums areas. This makes looking for something impossible and frustrating.
As a new site, I suggest that this be contained. This particular forum, "Addons Issues" is much too vague when you now consider the use of the term "Addon" here on ImpressCMS. It includes just about everything outside of the core product.
If forums objective is to better find things and which acts as a depository of useful information, setting forth a policy for creating categories/topics and posting just makes good sense.
The traditional use of the word, "Add on" implies, modules or scripts which plugs into the foundation. This is not the case here and I found myself a bit confused.
I just see tighter forum management is needed and to start now and not wait. A forum is not just to receive answers, it is also to find stuff.
How can you mix themes, templates and modules in the same forum? That is what is happening in this forum.
I suggest this, that a volunteer manage and moderate a few forums. When a post is out of focus of the title, the volunteer would place it in it rightful place. Add to a sticky the rules of posting and enforce them.
Caps
yep, and when you click a link it snaps to the left. I have mentioned this before. I have no idea why its doing this, though because the content area is fixed width we could put a spacer at the top of it to make sure all content is as left justified as it can be.
Also, on the search page, the content seems not correctly aligned on the left. There is a big empty space in the left. Screenshots attached.
Anyone can fix this ?
On addons, whenever there is something "small" to display in the center column, the content is "squished" in the middle, while it should take all the place of the center. Screenshot attached.
Can anyone fix this ?
I'll try and reach Julian later today to ask how we can include fields from formulize in the view-cat view page.
Adding more comments to David says:
The same module can be in the repository three times: in "archive" section (old releases) and in its category as Final o RC releases. Smartsection is an example.
The problems is that in a summary page (as http://addons.impresscms.org/modules/wfdownloads/viewcat.php?cid=37)
the module version is not show about the submissions done using the Formulize integration. And we need fix this, of course.
Author´s site: well, of course, these sites can be in very different languages but I believe that information must be showed as an "honour" (I do not find the right English word for my thought) to the author.
Broken links: there are not broken links at this moment. The checked submissions list is in
http://wiki.impresscms.org/index.php?title=Validate_downloads_links and after 12 more links were fixed. Please, if you find errors, report them and we tray fix them.
Missing infos: yes, of course everybody here knows I am a very great developer :lmao: . You are right, in detail view : proposed by..and author.. but "View Other Files by Author" really must be by "publisher".
About non compatible modules "QA Checked" camp must be fixed too.
Marcan - could you ask Julian if there is any way we can fetch individual values from Formulize for use in this screen?
Then we can add additional information easily.
