TranslationsHey!
As of today, I'm using impressCMS on my website, so I had to translate it into Slovene language (well, I did have XOOPS site before, so most of the translation has already been done before). Anyway, what I'm trying to say is, I'd like to submit my translations in your download database, but I don't really know how (should I first talk to someone, should I just add them to addons page or what?). Also, later on, I'll also be able to submit translations for other modules (right now only core and system module have complete translation I belive)... I'd love to do that now, but the administration isn't translated on most of the modules, so I have to do that first, if I want to give translations here, don't you think? :) I hope you can help me with my little problem and have a nice day! :) |

Re: TranslationsHi w3by,
I would welcome you to this project, we certainly are interested on your translations, first you need to fill a form in for our SVN repository access: http://community.impresscms.org/modules/liaise/index.php?form_id=2 after 24 hours you'll get the access to SVN, there you can commit you files, if your not familiar with SVN, I'm sure someone will help you to get familiar with it, we also have video clips for teaching purposes! |

Re: TranslationsThank you both for quick answers.
I already submited the form for SVN access. Now all I've got to do is get a little bit familiar with the SVN (probably won't be a problem ... I hope ) |

Re: TranslationsOk, now I have access to SVN on Sourceforge.
I installed TortoiseSVN and "connected" to impressCMS SVN ... just to make sure I ain't doing something wrong: I can just add folder "slovenski" (or slovenian) in the languages folder and add slovene translations there? Or do I have to do anything alse before or after doing that? Never mind ... figured it out on my own (I hope) |

Re: TranslationsI've finally managed to register to Addons site and just so I don't do anything wrong ... would it be ok if I'd submit translations to the downloads repository or should they just stay in the SVN and that's it?

Re: TranslationsHi w3by, am following this process of translating them in version 1.0
Once you finish, you can create a package in a zip and send the davidl2 or here in the forum I think. Then you can create a new folder to version 1.1 and send back this content to continue the translation for this version that is in progress. Sorry my poor english, if not felt any stage, let me know. Sorry my poor english, se não entendeu alguma etapa, deixe-me saber. [/pt-br] Thanks for you work |

Re: TranslationsOk I'll try to translate few more files (under /class and that stuff) tommorow (ok, i should already say today - it's 0.11 CET here ) and then I'll just post the whole thing zipped over here.
Any then, I guess I should start to work on 1.1, huh? |

Re: TranslationsI've been just drag'n'dropping the folders to TurtoiseSVN's repository browser.
But now when I drag and drop a folder with files that already exist, I get an error ... that those files already exist (and no "would you like to override them" option) Also, no "commit" option in TurtoiseSVN... |

Re: TranslationsI've been busy with some post-windows reinstallation stuff (god I hate my computer & it's problems with some functions in Windows after 1 month of fresh install...) so I didn't get any time for this yesterday ... but here I am now. Again.
Anyways, problem on the page you linked me to is apparently when trying to commit a change when someone else already did before you, but you didn't reload the whole SVN browser. But that's not my problem (I tried to reload a lot of times) but it just doesn't work ... maybe any "guide" on how you guys update files in SVN (overwriting or something else?) And is it maybe problem with TurtoiseSVN? Maybe someone got any better program to use? |

Re: Translationskurak, yes, it took like 10 minutes to finally get it, that I really do have to download from SVN to later do the upload, but it was worth it ... updated the files, finally.
Thank you! |
