ImpressCMS site improvements for mobileHi, I've come to realize that the current theme has some issues for mobile admin users. The user menu block is not visible for mobile devices. The theme will be updated to improve on that. If you have other suggestions to improve the mobile experience, let me know in the thread. Edited by fiammybe on 2020/2/22 19:44:46

Re: ImpressCMS site improvements for mobileI have fixed the most important issue : the topbar menu is now visible on small mobile devices, and the 'fork me on github' banner is no longer shown on those screen sizes. I'm looking at the blocks on the front page with news items and forum topics now to improve upon. Edited by fiammybe on 2020/2/22 19:44:30

Re: ImpressCMS site improvements for mobileI'm not sure what happened, but since this update, I am not able to access the admin area - I just get a blank page. Edit: just added this and saved. The HTML tags go away on the save, since the forum setting has changed. Edited by skenow on 2020/2/19 18:13:56

Re: ImpressCMS site improvements for mobileWe're back in business - I deleted the contents of cache/ and templates_c/ and that resolved the issue. Edited by fiammybe on 2020/2/22 19:44:03

Re: ImpressCMS site improvements for mobileI ran into something else - I had to update the system module to regenerate templates. Edited by fiammybe on 2020/2/22 19:43:45

Re: ImpressCMS site improvements for mobileA very good question. And it looks like it is only posts that have been made after the migration to ImpressCMS 1.4.0. Edited by fiammybe on 2020/2/22 19:43:06

Re: ImpressCMS site improvements for mobileNow we may have something - each forum has its own setting for allowing HTML. This one didn't allow, until now. Let's see what happens. |

Re: ImpressCMS site improvements for mobileLooks like it is fixed now. And my temporary issue with the forum that stopped me from posting has gone as well. |

Re: ImpressCMS site improvements for mobileI think we introduced a new bug by updating to ImpressCMS 1.4 - the newer version of jQuery is not compatible with the version of Bootstrap used in the theme. The result is the navigation menu does not work for mobile devices, or even when you desktop browser emulates a mobile device. |

Re: ImpressCMS site improvements for mobileAccording to the latest package.json for Bootstrap 4.4.1, the jQuery version needs to be at least 1.9.1 and less than 3 |

Re: ImpressCMS site improvements for mobileI overwrote the jQuery with the old version, that fixed it. |
